Business Development Manager – Claria – Delhi

Job Purpose:

We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us expand our clientele in Claria division. Contribute to development and implementation of strategies to grow MedGenome’s business and improve MedGenome’s market position

Job Duties

  • Meet and engage with current MedGenome clients (Doctors, Hospitals and Labs/ Collection Centers/Research institutes/Pharma companies) in the applicable territory to retain and increase business from them
  • Meet and engage with other potential clients to add them into MedGenome network. Set up commercial arrangement with them in most profitable manner to MedGenome
  • Follow defined sales processes and conduct business accordingly
  • Implement marketing activities identified for the territory to help in brand building and generating additional revenue
  • Engage in KOL Management activities with key prescribers including organizing CME/ Conference
  • Coordinate with marketing and technical department in execution of KOL activities as required
  • Timely management of financial areas including Invoicing, Payment Collection, Referral Service Charge Payment and Outstanding Collection of all applicable clients as per MedGenome guidelines
  • Regular follow up with clients to ensure outstanding is cleared on time
  • Coordinate with local servicing team and client, if required, to ensure samples are picked and reports delivered in time as per the agreed procedure
  • Work with logistics team to create arrangements for sample pick-up and delivery from any new client added into the system before handing over to local servicing team for day-to-day servicing
  • Reporting to: Regional Sales Manager – Claria, Location: Delhi

Functional/Technical Skills

  • Bachelors/Master’s in science
  • Excellent academic track record and technical acumen

Educational Qualification

  • 2 – 5 years of relevant experience
  • Dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy
  • The ability to work across teams and functions effectively
