Job Purpose

We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to expand our customer base and achieve sales quotas for specific districts of our company. Ultimately, you will ensure your area of responsibility meets and exceeds the expectations of our business objectives and contributes to our company’s success in the long run.

Job Duties

  • Managing the Sales team, developing a business plan covering sales, revenue and expense controls, meeting agreed targets, and promoting the Organization’s presence to ensure systems and processes are implemented
  • Manage the sales administration function, operational performance reporting, streamlining processes and systems wherever possible
  • Monitoring the performance of Sales team by establishing a system of reports and communications involving sales reports, cyclical sales meetings, sales review
  • Ensure right team members (field force) are recruited as per the plan to avoid attrition within a year of recruitment. Providing with the right direction to sales team
  • Guide individuals towards professional growth through observation and giving feedback during joint field work and conducting their performance appraisals in a timely manner
  • Give direction to team based through analysis of their salaries and activity trends and help them achieve success on a weekly basis. Ensure office returns are submitted on time
  • To achieve productivity, monthly target, profit & collection
  • Creation of new clients & Development of existing clients
  • Finding opportunities for consistent growth and to guide team to capitalize on the opportunities
  • Creating awareness about MedGenome services among medical fraternity and their stakeholders
  • Being in direct touch with key clients and ensure they are regularly met as per the plan
  • Taking forwards KOL management program to build strong rapport with the KOLs
  • Coordinate with marketing to ensure opinion leaders and top contributors are academically engaged
  • Implementing the projects passed on or created by self or developed by company. To manage their entire sales operation part
  • Establishing & managing service network set-up and build a team of active individuals to drive the business. Effective promotion of the products across all the channel
  • Reporting to: Zonal Business Manager, Location: Chennai

Functional/Technical Skills

  • Bachelors/Master’s in science

Educational Qualification

  • 5 + years of relevant experience
