We are looking for an ambitious and energetic who will work both independently and as part of a collaborative team to generate data from various genomics-oriented workflows and assist in the optimization and validation of new technologies and procedures. Must be creative, detail oriented, have excellent communication skills and be willing to work in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Handling and accessioning patient specimens (Blood, Tissue, Nucleic acids etc.)
- Handling of infectious materials (Infectious pathogens) for genetic testing
- Preparation of nucleic acids for downstream process (but not limited to)
- Nucleic acid (DNA/RNA) extractions from biological materials & quality check
- Processing samples for PCR, qPCR, fragment analysis & other molecular biology techniques
- Processing samples for NGS and Sanger sequencing
- Participating in the laboratory quality management programs
- Developing standard operating procedures (SOP)
- Maintaining good quality and accuracy on work. Processing samples within TAT as per SOP and policy
- Carry out genomic data analysis, interpretation, and reporting
- Taking part in CAP and other accreditation affairs & Follow CAP related activities and CAP compliance in the workplace
- Any other responsibilities assigned by the Manager/Company
Qualification
- Bachelors/Master’s in science
- Excellent academic track record and technical acumen
Experience
- 1 – 4 years of relevant experience
- Dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy
- The ability to work across teams and functions effectively
